R.K.H. died 18 FEB 1965 in Toledo, Lucas Co., OH, at age 61. His body was interred 22 FEB 1965 in Willow Cem., Toledo, OH.. Died note: Velma Umbs. Mrs. Velma Umbs, 71, of Battle Creek, MI., and formerly of the 5700 Block of Rudyard Road, Sylvania, died thursday in Provincial House, Battle Creek, where she had been a patient for three days. She was the widow of R.K. Henry Umbs. She was a sales clerk in a Battle Creek fabric shop for six years, retiring in 1976. Surviving are her step-dau., Mrs Ruth Price, of Toledo; step-son Kenneth Umbs also of Toledo; brother, Lawrence Blodget, and sisters, Mrs. Mable Wotjaluk and Mrs Florence Battelle. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Toledo Memorial Park. The body is in Henry Mortuary, Battle Creek.
