Before he retired four years ago, he was employed at the Interlake Iron Corp. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Good Shepherd Church, and a veteran of the Spanish American War. Surviving are sons, John, Raymond, Alfred, Gerald, daughter Mrs Helen Jaynes, sisters Anna Luken, and Mrs. Augusta Managhan all of Toledo and brother Bernard Port Huron, MI. Services will be Wed. at 8:30 a.m. in the Tohle & Son Mortuary and at 9:00 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. "Toledo Blade Jan. 9, 1950"
