5. Pressley Moses⁵ RICE (Wilson D.⁴, Moses³, Aaron², Aaron¹) (#43) was born in Pandora, Putnam Co., OH 25 FEB 1869. Pressley died 6 FEB 1946 in Allen Co., OH, at age 76. His body was interred FEB 1946 in Woodlawn Cem., Lima, OH.

He married twice. He married Emma Leone BARBER 24 SEP 1895 in Defiance Co., OH.. (Emma Leone BARBER is #29.) Emma was born 1 DEC 1878 in Defiance, Defiance Co., OH. Emma was the daughter of John Charles BARBER and Barbara Adeline MILLER. Emma died 13 DEC 1906 in Lima, Allen Co., OH, at age 28. Her body was interred APR 1907 in OldRiversideCem., Defiance, OH.⁽²⁶⁵⁾ She was buried in April the following spring do to severe frozen ground and unable to dig a grave during December. He body was interned in the Riverside chappel during this time. Emma died in Lima, OH during childbirth of a Daughter who also did not survive.

Child Bed Fever was listed as cause of death.

He married Florence Grace BARBER circa 1910 in Allen Co., OH. (Florence Grace BARBER is #845.) Florence was born 3 APR 1888 in Lima, Allen Co., OH. Florence was the daughter of Levi BARBER and Mary HEATH. Florence died 31 DEC 1938 in Allen Co., OH, at age 50. Pressley was a piano tune in occupation, he also worked in barber shop briefly. He met Emma, his wife at the Valentine Theater in Defiance, Oh while he was playing the piano at various plays at the Valentine. Pressley was also a barber later in Lima, There is a Perry Rice buried in Riverside Cem on the same plot as Emma Barber Rice and children. I do not know who this Perry Rice is?

11 vi. Frances Evelyn RICE (#850) was born in Allen Co., OH 15 NOV 1918. Frances died 25 SEP 1974 in Allen Co., OH, at age 55.

12 vii. Clarence Delbert RICE (#44) was born in Defiance, Defiance Co., OH 20 JAN 1897. Clarence died 12 MAR 1994 in Ottawa, Putnam Co., OH., at age 97. His body was interred MAR 1994 in Shawnee Cem, Lima, OH. His ashes were put on his brother Charles Grave.

He was cremated MAR 1994 in Allen Co., OH. Clarence Died in the nursing home in Ottawa, OH. He worked in the B&O railroad shops in Lima, OH, He later worked at the YMCA in Lima after he retired from the RR. He had spent time in the Toledo Hospital several times due to anxiety attacks? (George Witt first cousin to Grandfather John C. Barber had the same type of problem, both were to be very intelligent).

13 viii. Forest Elgen RICE (#45) was born in Defiance, Defiance Co., OH 11 JUN 1900. Forest died 14 JUN 1900 in Defiance, Defiance Co., OH, at age unknown. His body was interred JUN 1900 in O.RiversideCem, Defiance, OH.
