He married Margaret MILLER 3 JAN 1846. (Margaret MILLER is #175.) Margaret was born 7 MAY 1831 in Stark Co., OH. Margaret was the daughter of William Sr. MILLER and Elizabeth "Betsy" NOOLS. Margaret died 25 MAY 1906 in Lima, Allen Co., OH, at age 75. Her body was interred MAY 1906 in Woodlawn Cem., Lima, OH.

John Henry NUCE and Margaret MILLER had the following children:

2 i. Mary Alice Irene² NUCE (#610) (still alive).

3 ii. James Harvey NUCE (#607) was born in OH 26 FEB 1848.

4 iii. Laura Elizabeth NUCE (#608) was born in OH 7 OCT 1849. Laura died 7 JUL 1927 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, at age 77.

5 iv. James Henry NUCE (#609) was born 12 SEP 1850. James died 27 DEC 1853 in Lima, Allen Co., OH, at age 3.
