KUNESH. Mary died 5 APR 1895 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 66.⁽²⁸⁷⁾ Her body was interred APR 1895 in Riverside Cem., Defiance Co., OH. Mary immigrated to destination unknown 19 AUG 1854.

Mathias immigrated to destination unknown 19 AUG 1854.⁽²⁸⁸⁾ Mathias Shindler lived in a Log cabin Farm house on Ayersville Rd. where Robert Hoshock now lives. It has been passed down through generations that he was the eldest of 10 children. The order of the children is something of the following: Mathias, Anna Mary (Arusda), Jacob, Wesley, George, Mary, Anna, John, Agnes, ?Son. The last son's name is unknown and it is said he was born in a stable as the family had just recently lost their home. Possible cause was a fire? 5 of the 10 children came to the U.S. with Mathias coming first, also Anna Mary, and Jacob, the other three are unknown. It is now firmly believed that the father and mother names were as follows: John & Anna Shindler. An additional daughter may have been named Theresa, and a son Charles? There were two Mathais Shindlers living in Seneca Co., one came in April of 1854 and the other came in August of 1854, after researching records there still may be a third one named Mathais Shindler?? wow! and all from Choitimur Bohemia! more research needed.....

Kidney failure was cause of death, and He had kidney related problems for a few years prior to his death

John was the son of George STEFFEL and Anna (?) STEFFEL. John died 14 DEC 1910 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 70. His body was interred DEC 1910 in St. Michael's, Defiance Co., OH. Catherine immigrated to destination unknown 19 AUG 1854.⁽²⁸⁹⁾ need to verify date of death as seen listed in yesteryear trails of Def. Co., Genealogical soc. news letter as Mar. 27, 1945 death certificate no. 48. Her birth record was found in Catholic Parish Office in Blizejov listed as August 31, 1852 register vol.7/254 which listed her parents as Mathias Schindler and Marie nee Konasch and her name was listed as Katharina Schindler

6 ii. Anna SHINDLER (#492) was born in Clinton Twp., Seneca Co., OH. 28 DEC 1857. Anna died 19 MAY 1933 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 75. Her body was interred MAY 1933 in Riverside Cem., Defiance Co., OH. She married John Joseph HOSHOCK 14 MAY 1878 in Defiance Co., OH.. (John Joseph HOSHOCK is #2081.)
