She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Holgate, where she was a past president of its Altar Rosary Society and church council. She was also a choir member, lector and Eucharist minister, The Henry County Right to Life organizer was a mentor at Holgate Elementary School, an employee at Dilly Door, a member of Holgate American Legion Auxiliary 340 and retired as a cook from Holgate Local Schools.

Jacobs disease - Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is a disorder involving rapid decrease of mental function and movement. These are abnormalities believed to be caused by damage done to the brain by a protein called a prion. This protein folds abnormally, and seems to encourage other proteins to become similarly misshapen, affecting their ability to function.
