DEATH IS CAUSED BY RHEUMATISM Mrs. Anna Willitzer taken after fourteen years of suffering. Fourteen years suffering with rheumatism ended at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, When death claimed Mrs. Ann Willitzer, 73, at her home on the Baker road (Standley rd.) in south Richland twp. Acute inflammatory rheumatism was the cause of death. Mrs. Willitzer was the former Anna Streit, born April 10, 1856, in Bobbanlauer, Bavaria. She made first communion in the Catholic church in 1869. Comming with her parents to America in 1878, she lived in Defiance until she was married in St John's Catholic church in 1880 to the late John Willitzer. The went to the farm where Mrs. Willitzer has lived ever since. Mr. Willitzer died ten years ago. Of their children: Anna and John are dead. The surviors are Matthias, Toledo; Anthony and Joesph, of Defiance; Miss Elizabeth of the home; Mrs. Dorthy Steffel, Ridgeville; Mrs Mary Wagner St. Michael's; Mrs. Agnes Steffel, Jewell, and Mrs Frances Cleary, Buffalo N.Y. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, Rev. George H. Lang officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cem.
