Catherine was born 1833 in Moravia, Bohemia. Catherine died 1901 in Dinwiddie Co., Petersburg, VA, at age 68. Her body was interred 1901 in Petersburg, VA.. Her Death date is in question because in the 1900 Prince George Co., VA census her husband Wenzel (Veslie) is listed as a widower. Wenzel was an only child and was spoiled by his parents and servants. He was a buyer for a store in the village where he lived. On one of his trips to Moravia, he attended Catholic Mass at a local church. The parish priest invited him to dinner and it was there that he met Catherine, the priest's niece, who was visiting. "A native of Bohemia died Thursday morning 4th October 1906 at his home in Prince George Co., VA. He was 79. He came to Prince George Co., from Ohio several years ago. He is survived by 5 children." Burial was in St. Joseph Cem. Blandford on Oct 5th 1906 If his age was correct in the obit. he would have been born in 1829? In the 1900 census he list his birth as DEC 1927

3 ii. Mathias "Matthew" Aloysius WAGNER (#497) was born in Bohemia circa 1857. Mathias died 21 FEB 1883 in Archabbey Basl, Latrobe, PA, at age 25.⁽¹⁾ His body was interred FEB 1883 in St.VincentColl, Latrobe, PA. Attended a seminary to become a priest but died just before ordination.

+ 6 v. Mary WAGNER was born 26 FEB 1872.
