She was baptized APR 1953 in St. Thresea's Cath., Pawtucket, RI. When Anne was age 23 and Robert Leon LALIBERTE was age 23 they became the parents of Philip John LALIBERTE 27 DEC 1976 in Pawtucket, Providence Co., RI. When Anne was age 26 and Robert Leon LALIBERTE was age 26 they became the parents of Jennifer Alyce LALIBERTE 18 JUN 1979 in Pawtucket, Providence Co., RI. When Anne was age 29 and Robert Leon LALIBERTE was age 29 they became the parents of Matthew Thomas LALIBERTE 28 OCT 1982 in Pawtucket, Providence Co., RI. ANN (BARBER) LALIBERTE 1953 - 2018 LISBON - Ann (Barber) Laliberte, 65, formerly of Warwick, RI and Lisbon, CT, passed away on October 8, 2018 at the W.W. Backus Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born April 5, 1953 in Pawtucket to the late Thomas and Mary Barber, and graduated from Tolman High School and Rhode Island Junior College. She was most recently employed by WalMart of Lisbon. Annie was an active member of the St. Peter's Parish in Warwick, RI while her children attended school there. She loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved grandchildren, making room for their Lego creations, and watching UConn women's basketball and TVLand reruns of M*A*S*H. She will be most remembered for her colorful language, her quick wit, and her heart that was far bigger than her frame. She is survived by her son Philip Laliberte and his wife Bronagh of Warwick, her daughter Jennifer Nowakowski and her husband David of Lisbon, and her son Matthew Laliberte and his wife Crystal of Attleboro, MA, as well as her four grandchildren, Brock, Reed, Trey & Sage Nowakowski, her brother Thomas and Sue Barber, her sister Kathy Doyle, her sister Mary Jo and Lester Kennedy, her brother John Barber, her former husband Robert and his fiancée Maureen, numerous nieces and nephews, and camping friends at Sunfox and Strawberry Park. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 5pm-7pm at Labenski Funeral Home in Taftville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15 at 10am at the Preston City Congregational Church.
