He married Florence WIGHT 10 MAR 1915 in Putnam Co., OH.⁽⁶⁾ (Florence WIGHT is #797.) Florence was born 6 JUN 1894 in Putnam Co., OH. Florence was the daughter of Charles Eugene WIGHT and Emma Elizabeth BEHNER. Florence died 3 FEB 1984 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 89. Her body was interred 6 FEB 1984 in Monroe Twp. Cem., Putnam Co., OH.. Florence, had diabetes, she had a leg removed do to poor circulation problems. Frank Cleaves served in WW I, and contacted the mumps and was discharged due to medical complications to the mumps. He was first employed as a conductor on the Nickle Plate (Clorverleaf) RR working out of Continental, OH and then later moved his family to Highland twp in Defiance Co., and took up farming on 160 acres.
