161. John Joseph Jr.⁴ LENHART (Agnes A.³ WAGNER, Mary² SHINDLER, Anna Marie Catherine¹ KUNESH, Sebastian KUNES^A, Vaclav KUNES^B) (#1498) was born in Defiance Co.,, OH. 3 JUN 1920. John died 26 NOV 1990 in Erie, PA., at age 70.⁽²⁹⁾ His body was interred NOV 1990 in St. Michael's, Defiance Co., OH.

He was a retired farmer and retired employee of the Ohio Department of Transportation. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Jewel American Legion, Disabled America Veterns, Defiance County Fish & Game, National Rifle Association, Jewel Volunteer Fire Department, and Ohio Polka Boosters. He was past 4-H adviser for the Star Farmers 4-H Club. John died of a apparent heart attack while deer hunting in PA.
