4. Thomas² KUNESH (John B.¹, Mr.?^A) (#3747) was born in Bohemia 6 DEC 1863. Thomas died 11 JAN 1944 in Defiance Co., OH, at age 80.

He married Anna Agnes NOSIL 8 AUG 1899 in OH. (Anna Agnes NOSIL is #3751.) Anna was born 1 OCT 1877 in Bohemia. Anna was the daughter of George NOSIL and Mary (?) NOSIL. Anna died 25 NOV 1926 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 49. Anna immigrated to destination unknown 1881.

Thomas immigrated to destination unknown 1865. He became crippled after his marriage possibly from polio or rheumatoid arthritis. He resided on Watson Rd. in Highland Twp., Defiance Co., OH

Thomas KUNESH and Anna Agnes NOSIL had the following children:

12 i. Estella Caroline³ KUNESH (#3752) was born in Defiance Co.,, OH. 13 AUG 1903. Estella died 17 OCT 1970 at age 67.

13 ii. Frank Martin KUNESH (#3753) was born in Defiance Co.,, OH. 4 DEC 1905. Frank died 30 MAY 1988 in Defiance Co., OH., at age 82. Frank was a bachelor and lived at the home place on Watson Rd in Highland Twp, Defiance Co., OH. He was a life long farmer and was very good at what he did. He was and exceptional blacksmith, as I seen him make log chains, steel jaw traps, and repair many items. He was a good trap shooter and was quite a good competitor. He told me many stories on the Kunesh/Shindler families...one story in piticular was the one when "John & Mary (Schindler) Wagner's last son (George) was getting married, John Wagner came to the Kunesh families and ask to borrow several hindered dollars, they immediately declined to loan him the money. When John Kunesh brother-in-law Mathias Schindler found out about it he became very upset and he came to the Kunesh families unknown to John Wagner and reminded them that he was the one who sent money to John Kunesh in Bohemia from America and made it possible for them to come to America, and that John was his son-in-law and therefore family/cousins to the Kunesh's family and it was an obligation to loan John Wagner the money. And they did and George Wagner got his farm." The money was repaid also very soon. This story was also confirmed by Rose Wagner, George Wagner's sister.
