When Bertha was age 29 and Harry Elmer CAMPBELL was age 33 they became the parents of Robert Earl CAMPBELL 21 MAY 1914 in Chicago, Cook Co., IL. I did find a Bertha Dause bn Jan 1884 who md Mathew L. Hommers bn 1880, on 25 APR 1905? this date of birth is a close match with her. and it does list her parents as both born in Germany. She does show in the 1910 census in her parents home so this is confusing?
