She married twice.

When Amy was age 23 and Michael Eugene ALFORD was age 29 they became the parents of Ian T. ALFORD 20 JUN 1980 in South Bend, IN. Amy was divorced from Michael Eugene ALFORD 1988 in IN. KALAMAZOO - Amy K. Alford passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017, at her home. Amy was born December 17, 1955, in South Bend, IN, the daughter of the late Allan and Lois (Miller) Knox. She was employed as a scientist with the Pfizer Corporation for 15 years. Amy was a very creative person and enjoyed stamping, cooking, and reading. On September 19, 1992, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Phillip Marks, who survives. Also surviving are her son, Ian (Kirsten) Alford; stepchildren, Lyndell Marks, Michael (Amy) Marks, Jenny Alford; 7 step-grandchildren; brothers, Allan Knox II, and Douglas Knox.
