William2 MILLER was born 1808.
1. William Sr.1 MILLER (#167) was born in VA 1775. I have seen the birth location listed as VA, PA, and MD. William died after 1860 at age unknown.(1)
He married Elizabeth "Betsy" NOOLS circa 1807. (Elizabeth "Betsy" NOOLS is #168.) Elizabeth was born 22 FEB 1782 in PA. (Additional notes for Elizabeth "Betsy" NOOLS(2)) Elizabeth died 2 APR 1872 in Angola, Stuben Co., IN, at age 90. Her body was interred APR 1872 in OWeatherheadCe, Angola, IN.. Betsy resided with her son Wm. Miller during the 1850 census see 132-132 Defiance Twp. Defiance Co. apparently after that she moved with Her youngest son Samuel Miller at Angola, IN, and also her daughter Elizabeth (Miller) Nichols. The 1870 census shows her living with Henry and Elizabeth Nichols as age 89. Obit: Mrs. Miller Mrs. Miller, mother of Samuel Miller and Mrs. Henry Nichols of this place, died this morning at the advanced age of 94 years.

I am wondering if she could be the daughter of George Nool bn 1750 PA and in the 1790 census was in Dauphin Co., PA It appears that William resided in Abbotstown, PA as a hatter, then went to Hagerstown, MD, then to Sommerset, PA, then to Canton, Stark Co., OH, then to Bucyrus, Crawford Co., OH and finally to Defiance, Defiance Co., OH throughtout his life. In later years it appears that he and his wife were kept by family members do to their age.
May have had a brother Christian Miller who had a son Benjamin Miller? Or Christian was a nephew? further research is needed! From many family members indicated that Benjamin Miller of Evansport, OH (1850 census) was a cousin.
