He married Geraldine Elsie GRISIER 14 FEB 1940. (Geraldine Elsie GRISIER is #8151.) Geraldine was born 27 DEC 1914. Geraldine was the daughter of Wendell P. GRISIER and Frances Ruth BRICKMAN.

When Ira was age 28 and Geraldine Elsie GRISIER was age 25 they became the parents of Larry Frederick WERDER 22 SEP 1940 in Bryan, Williams Co., OH. When Ira was age 31 and Geraldine Elsie GRISIER was age 28 they became the parents of Arlen Wendell WERDER 13 SEP 1943 in Bryan, Williams Co., OH. When Ira was age 36 and Geraldine Elsie GRISIER was age 33 they became the parents of Jerold William WERDER 4 NOV 1948.

Ira Earl WERDER and Geraldine Elsie GRISIER had the following children:
