HOLGATE-- Lucille C. Henrich, 88, of Holgate, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, July 2, 2009, at the Vancrest Healthcare Center in Holgate, Ohio.

She was born on January 10, 1921, in Defiance County, to Arthur and Mathilda (Breininger) Beltz. She married Paul D. Henrich in May of 1943 and he passed away on November 4, 1994. Lucille retired after many years of working for Meyer Market and Ralph's Country Pride. She graduated from Mark Center High School in 1939. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Holgate, the church's Mission Society and also taught Sunday school for several years.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald P. Henrich of Deshler, Ohio, and William A. (Susan) Henrich of New Bavaria, Ohio; a daughter, Karen Good of Huron, Ohio; a sister, Dortha Kline of Mark Center, Ohio; two brothers, Delmar (June) Beltz of Woodburn, Ind., and Byron (Mary) Beltz of Sherwood, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marge (Ted) Clapp of Eustis, Fla.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Gensel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church in Holgate with Rev. Theodore Rellstab officiating. Internment will follow at the Hill Cemetery in rural Ayersville, Ohio. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home of Holgate and on Monday for one hour prior to services at the church.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.snyderfuneralhome.net.
