Iva was the daughter of George Wesley HANOVER and Lena Catharine ROLLINS. She left Tony for a Conductor on the Wabash RR. who resided in Montepiler.

Elizabeth was born 10 SEP 1897 in Fulton Co., GA. She had a birth certificate from Gerorgia and it listed the location as Columbus, GA? Elizabeth was the daughter of Frederick Leon Bishop DEVONCHI and Elizabeth Luwese DEVONCHI.

Elizabeth died FEB 1974 in Lucas Co., OH, at age 76. Elizabeth Lousie (Luwese) Bishop, Geffe, Swank, Fischer. Elizabeth Louise was raised by an Aunt and Uncle DeVonchi in the Atlanta, GA area. Was her maiden name Bishop? or deVonchi? The SS records indicate that her father was Frederick Leon Bishop and her mother as Elizabeth Luwese deVonchi. She has several times listing that her father was born in Spain and her mother was born in France. The 1930 Census Lucas Co, list her as Lurene Swank born GA, Father Born Spain, and Mother born France.

Moardecai was divorced from Iva L. HANOVER before 1925 in Defiance Co., OH. When Moardecai was age 28 and Elizabeth Louise DEVONCHI GEFFE was age 29 they became the parents of JeanneMarie SWANK 25 AUG 1927. Maynard was a former member of the Stryker Volunteer Fire Dept in the early 1900's. His name is posted on the wall in the fire truck bay. He was a bus driver for Grey Hound at his retirement. His WWI registration card list his first name as Moard. Maynard Swank. Living at home 1918 I find him in the 1920 Census City of Defiance as age 21 with wife Iva age 19, listed occupation was a hired hand as foreman., and living next to a Wesly & Grace Lloyd? It appears her name was Iva Hanover, born Paulding Co., OH to George & Lena Hanover. Later M.M. and Iva Swank resided in Toledo until their divorce in 1925
