Jack died 31 OCT 2006 in Wayne Co., MI, at age 90. worked for great lakes steel as a locomotive engineer, he had been a Loco fireman and fired for his future father-in-law. Proud grandfather of Debbie, Scott, Steven and Stephanie Ross. Dear friend of Pauline Uroda. Jack retired from Great Lakes Steel in 1978 after 44 years of service. He was associated for many years with the AARP Income Tax Service at the Wyandotte City Hall. He was a member of the Wyandotte Police and Fire Commission from 1957 to 1964. He was a former Boy Scout Leader, past commander of the American Legion, and member of the Trenton-Wyandotte Masonic Lodge. He was also an Associate member of the Wyandotte Fraternal Order of Police, where he instituted the weekly bingo fund raiser. Visitation Wednesday 5-9 p.m. and Thursday 1-9 p.m. Closing prayers Friday 11 a.m. at R.J. Nixon Funeral Home - 2544 Biddle Ave., Wyandotte (734) 284-1600. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery with Military Honors by the Wyandotte Veterans Honor Guard.
