Elmont died before 1920 at age unknown.

When Edith was age 20 and Elmont "Elmer" MELICK was age 31 they became the parents of Ruth M. MELICK SEP 1899 in Defiance Co., OH. When Edith was age 22 and Elmont "Elmer" MELICK was age 32 they became the parents of Ida Mardell MELICK 1901 in IL. I found Edith in the Leonard R. Brown home with wife Mardel R. Brown in Yakima, WA., and is listed as sister in law, in the 1920 US Census. This would be incorrect as it should have been Mother In Law. Living in the Jacob A. Melick house as daughter in law in the 1900 Marshall Co., IL Census.
