She married Addison WITT 8 JAN 1843 in Williams Co., OH. (Addison WITT is #256.) Addison was born 25 DEC 1814 in NH. Also have date of birth as 1 JAN 1815, NH ?

Addison died 27 NOV 1889 in Williams Co., OH, at age 74. His body was interred 1889 in Boynton Cem., Williams Co., OH. He most likely comes from Jafferys, NH as this is were Witt's resided in NH arround the late 1700's and early 1800's. He is most likely the grandson of Zaccheus Witt.

When Eliza was age 19 and Addison WITT was age 29 they became the parents of Andrew J. WITT 21 JUL 1844 in Springfield Twp., Williams Co., OH.. When Eliza was age 22 and Addison WITT was age 32 they became the parents of Thomas Jefferson WITT 30 MAR 1847 in Springfield Twp., Williams Co., OH.. When Eliza was age 32 and Addison WITT was age 42 they became the parents of Mary Ellen WITT 23 JUN 1857 in Springfield Twp., Williams Co., OH.. When Eliza was age unknown and Addison WITT was age unknown they became the parents of George M. WITT circa 1858 in Bryan, Williams Co., OH. When Eliza was age 35 and Addison WITT was age 46 they became the parents of John Weller WITT 30 JAN 1861 in Springfield Twp., Williams Co., OH. Most of the research indicates that Eliza Ann was Blind from a teenager and on? Her parents did file in Williams County to report her becoming blind.

Blind, listed in several census, cause is unknown but she was listed as blind first on the 1840 census, at about age 15.

705 iv. George M. WITT⁽²⁰⁾ (#2742) was born in Bryan, Williams Co., OH circa 1858. George died 15 MAR 1908 in Toledo, Lucas Co., OH, at age 49. George Witt was committed to the Toledo Mental Hospital and it appeared from the medical record that He suffered from anxiety attacks and appeared to be uncontrollable. He later died at the Hospital after many years there. (The research was provided by Jean Coy Bartholomew of Upland, CA.). There appears to be a significant simularity to Clarence D. Rice, who also suffered the same problems and spent repeated times at the Toledo Hospital? 1st cousins 2 times removed. It was also said that he had very high intellegence. It was also said he had compulsive disorder too!
