He married Rosie WINES 25 JUL 1959. (Rosie WINES is #7262.) Jack K. Behny, 75, Greentown, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at his home. He was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Peru, to Keith and Mary (Barker) Behny. He married Rosalie Behny on July 25, 1959, and she preceded him in death.

He attended Northwestern High School and served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. He worked as a press operator for the Kokomo Tribune until he retired in 1998.

Jack was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed going to car shows and showing off his own car. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Mark (Michelle) Behny and Edward (Susan) Behny; one daughter, Laura (Mitchell) Roberts; one brother, Robert Behny (Cindy); four grandchildren, Tara (Joel) Cogdell, Trent Roberts, Arrick Behny and Adam Behny; and many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marilyn and Patty; and brother-in-law, Richard Wines.
