836. Sylvan Stanley¹² SIGG (Albert Ray¹¹, Mary Ellen¹⁰ WITT, Eliza Ann⁹ BARBER, Thomas⁸, Benjamin B.⁷, Thomas⁶, Thomas⁵, Moses⁴, James A.³, James², Thomas¹) (#8126) was born in Williams Co., OH 12 SEP 1919. Sylvan died 2003 in OH, at age 83.

SYLVIN SIGG 1919-2003 SIDNEY — Sylvin Stanley Sigg, 84, a Williams County native, died Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney, following an extended illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1919, in Williams County, the son of Albert and Jeanette (Posey) Sigg. In 1945, he married Wilma Stock, who survives. He attended the University of Dayton, and Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy. He was an electrical engineer for 20 years at B.F. Goodrich in Fort Wayne, a former member of Friendship Methodist Church, and a volunteer at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community. Also surviving are five sons, James of Lima, Joseph of Glendale, Ariz., Michael of Wooster, Thomas of Antwerp, and Daniel of Pittsburgh; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were five brothers. Memorial services were held in the Oliver and Peg Amos Chapel at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community with Dr. Fred Lacuesta officiating.
