33. John E.⁷ CLEAVES (Israel⁶, Eaton Jr.⁵, Eaton Sr.⁴, Robert³, John², William¹) (#1309) was born in Licking Co., OH 28 DEC 1846. John died 21 JUL 1896 in Brown Twp., Paulding Co., OH, at age 49. His body was interred date unknown in Paulding Co., OH.

He married Mildren HOLDREN 12 AUG 1868 in Auglaize Co., OH. (Mildren HOLDREN is #1310.) Mildren was born 30 JAN 1849 in Auglaize Co., OH. Mildren died 9 APR 1902 in Brown Twp., Paulding Co., OH, at age 53. Paulding Co., OH, probate records reveal that on 9 May 1898, she was judged insane, and put in the custody of her son, Grant. On 13 Jun 1898, she was returned to court and found worse. Judge thereby ordered her to make application to the Toledo State Hospital. On 21 Jun 1898, her application was approved. The records do not state whether she actually went, and if so, for how long, because she appears in the 1900 Paulding Co., OH census and her death record says that she died in Paulding Co., OH. At that time her twin minor sons, Earl and Cliffe, age 16 were put under the guardingship of JA Weible, a neighbor, until they turned 21 in 1906.

45 iv. Arthur Crooks CLEAVES (#1331) was born in Moulton Twp., Auglaize Co., OH 6 FEB 1876. Arthur died 21 JUN 1907 in Paulding Co., OH, at age 31. His body was interred JUN 1907.
