He married Doris Fern SWICK 26 DEC 1938 in Lima, Allen co., OH. (Doris Fern SWICK is #6266.) Doris was born 1915 in Blufton, OH. Doris died 2000 in Phoenix, AZ, at age 85.

When Raymond was age 25 and Doris Fern SWICK was age 22 they became the parents of Larry Raymond CLEAVES 22 JUL 1937 in Lima, Allen Co., OH. When Raymond was age 27 and Doris Fern SWICK was age 23 they became the parents of Terry Gordon CLEAVES 17 DEC 1938.
